Pirate Party

Wesley decided on a pirate themed party this year. We first read How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long (so cute), then they stuck the treasure chest on the map (pin the tail on the donkey style), then they created pirate gear (bandanas from orientaltradingcompany.com) and got tattoos, next was cake and ice cream (pirate cupcakes), and finally a treasure chest pinata. A friend of mine, bless her heart, volunteered to take pictures with my camera, but there were no pictures on the camera when I went to upload. This is the only picture I have and it was from my video camera. Oh well. I am just really sad I didn't get a picture of him blowing out the candles; maybe I'll try to capture one from a video, because I think I got that.
