We were blessed to have Andy's parents here for the weekend of Wesley's party and an Advent. Because they were here, we had an early Christmas with them before church today. Debbie always does way too much for us. Don't get me wrong, I am more than grateful, but I sort of feel guilty accepting it all. Here are some pictures from our early Christmas.
What do you get a kid that already has everything under the sun because his older brother is spoiled? Oh, a replacement piano toy for the crib (which still isn't set up because the basement still isn't done - that was my Christmas wish) because the old one bit the dust in the attic. Madsen loves it!

Wesley likes to play games so these two were favorites.

There were many gifts exchanged, smiles and thanks given, and the whole time, I just couldn't help but think how many others there are who are not even a quarter as fortunate as us. My heart goes out to those who have suffered much this year and I pray things work out better in 2012.
Well, that was depressing.
Christmas is a joyous time - with or without gifts. Honestly, my favorite is sitting around with friends and family shooting the breeze while playing a good game of Dalmuti.
Merry Christmas!
